How to Send Feedback to Students in EnlightenAI

Release AI-assisted feedback in EnlightenAI: email, printable PDF, or — if Google is connected — post to student Google Docs or Google Classroom.

Written by Gautam Thapar

Once you've reviewed and approved your AI-assisted grades, sending them to students takes one click. You can email the whole class, generate printable PDF handouts, post straight into Google Docs or Google Classroom, or release feedback to one student at a time. Here's how.

At a glance: Open the assignment's Analytics → Bulk send feedback → choose Email, PDF, Google Docs, or Google Classroom → (or use a student's own Send button).

Step 1. Open Bulk send feedback

Once you’ve reviewed and approved your grades, open the assignment’s Analytics page and click Bulk send feedback to share scores and feedback with the whole class at once.

Step 2. Send by email or as a PDF

Pick a delivery method. Send by Email delivers each student an individual email with their scores and feedback. Send in PDF file generates a printable handout per student — handy for conferences or paper copies.

Step 3. Post to Google Docs or Google Classroom

If you’ve connected Google Classroom, you’ll also see Post on Google Docs (appends scores and feedback to the top of each student’s Google Doc) and Send individual announcement (posts to each student’s Google Classroom stream). If those options don’t appear, or posting fails, it’s almost always a district setting your admin needs to enable — ask them to turn on EnlightenAI’s access to Google Docs / Classroom, then try again.

Step 4. Or send to one student at a time

Prefer to release feedback individually? Each student row has its own Send button, so you can deliver feedback to one student as soon as their work is approved — without waiting for the whole class.
