After EnlightenAI grades a class, you stay in control: every AI score and comment is a draft you review, edit, and approve before students ever see it. This guide walks through reading each student's work, adjusting rubric scores, editing the AI's feedback, and releasing it.
At a glance: Open the graded assignment → review the class scoreboard → open a student → adjust rubric scores → edit the feedback → Approve and Next.
Step 1. See the whole class at a glance
Open the assignment after grading. EnlightenAI has scored every student against your rubric and drafted feedback. Each row shows the per-criterion scores and total — your job now is to review and approve.
Step 2. Read the student's submission
Click View on a student to read exactly what they wrote. Reading the work alongside the AI's scores helps you confirm the grade is fair before you release it.
Step 3. Check and adjust the rubric scores
Each rubric criterion has a slider with the AI's score. Drag any slider to change a score — the overall score recalculates automatically. This is where you correct anything the AI got wrong.
Step 4. Review and edit the written feedback
The Feedback comments panel holds the AI's draft feedback. Edit it directly — tighten the wording, add a personal note, or remove anything that doesn't fit. Use Regenerate to have the AI try again. Save your edits before moving on, or they're lost.
Step 5. Approve and move to the next student
When the scores and feedback look right, click Approve and Next. Approving saves your changes and moves to the next student. Once every student is approved, the feedback is released for students to read.
