From the Admin Console, district and school leaders manage who can do what in EnlightenAI. People are organized by role — District Admins, Staff, and Teachers — and you can change anyone's role in a couple of clicks. Here's how.
At a glance: Admin Console → People & Roles → find the person → Edit → choose Teacher, Staff, or District Admin → Save.
Step 1. Open People & Roles
In the Admin Console, open People & Roles. Everyone in your organization is listed by group — District Admins, Staff, and Teachers — with their current role and school access. Use the tabs and search to find anyone.
Step 2. Change a role
Click Edit on anyone to open their profile, then choose their EnlightenAI role — Teacher, Staff, or District Admin. Each role unlocks different access (a District Admin sees the whole district; a teacher sees their own classes). Click Save to apply.
