Why isn't my training assignment showing progress?

Training progress in EnlightenAI appears in the grading flow's training step and stays at 0% until you grade 5 sample submissions.

Your training assignment doesn't show progress on the Trainings page because that list view doesn't include a training-progress bar. Progress appears inside the training step of the grading flow, and it stays at 0% until you've graded sample submissions.

Where do I see training progress?

Open the training assignment and start grading. In the training step you'll see a message like "AI is currently 40% trained!" The Trainings page itself lists your assignments but does not display a progress bar, so that's not the place to check.

Why is it stuck at 0%?

Progress is based on how many sample submissions you've graded — not how many you've uploaded. Until you finish grading your first sample, progress stays at 0%. Uploading samples alone doesn't move the bar.

How many samples do I need for 100%?

EnlightenAI reaches 100% trained at 5 graded samples. Each graded sample adds 20%:

  • 1 graded sample = 20%

  • 2 graded samples = 40%

  • 3 graded samples = 60%

  • 4 graded samples = 80%

  • 5 graded samples = 100%

Grading more than 5 samples won't raise it past 100% — five is the full training target.

What if progress still won't update?

Make sure each sample is fully graded, not just opened or saved as a draft. Only completed gradings count toward the percentage. Once a sample is finished, the percentage updates the next time you view the training step.
