Features people ask about that don't exist (yet)

A few EnlightenAI features teachers ask for that aren't built yet, plus the closest tools that do the same job today.

A few things teachers ask us for aren't part of EnlightenAI yet. Here are the most common ones, plus the closest tool that does the same job today.

Is there a "Skill Groups" feature?

No. EnlightenAI doesn't have a "Skill Groups" feature for sorting students into ability-based groups. If you want to support students who share a gap, you have two options that work today:

  • Reteach resources — EnlightenAI can generate a short, student-facing reteach mini-lesson that targets the highest-priority skill gap a class is showing, based on their actual work.

  • Per-student accommodations — On each enrollment you can set a home language, translation, and text-to-speech so individual students get feedback in a way that fits them. EnlightenAI supports 7 languages: Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Haitian Creole, French, and Portuguese.

Can I see one student's progress across every assignment in a timeline?

Not as a single per-student timeline, no. EnlightenAI doesn't have a cross-assignment student timeline view.

What it does have is Growth Analytics in the Admin Console. Growth Analytics tracks proficiency, score distribution, and average performance across a sequence of assignments, so you can see how a class or group is trending over time rather than one assignment at a time.

Will these be added later?

We can't promise dates, and we'd rather under-promise here than point you at something that doesn't exist. If a feature above would make a real difference for your classroom, let us know — that feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
