What plan am I on, and how do limits work?

See which EnlightenAI plan you're on and how submission limits and Generate All work, plus how to request an extension or upgrade.

EnlightenAI has three plans: a School/District Plan (unlimited), a Free Trial (30 days, unlimited while active), and Free Forever (500 graded submissions per month). You can see your current plan and request an extension or upgrade from the Plans page.

How do I check which plan I'm on?

Open the Plans page in your teacher account. It shows your active plan, and for limited plans, how many submissions you've used this month and how many remain.

What does each plan include?

  • School/District Plan — If your school or district has a paid plan, you get unlimited grading. This takes priority over every other plan.

  • Free Trial — New teachers start on a 30-day free trial with unlimited submissions. When it ends, you automatically move to Free Forever.

  • Free Forever — The default after a trial ends: up to 500 graded submissions per month. The count resets on the 1st of each month.

How do submission limits work?

On Free Forever, each graded submission counts toward your monthly total. For Immediate Feedback assignments, each student attempt counts as one submission, so 25 students with 3 attempts uses 75. School/District Plans and active trials are unlimited.

Why is Generate All limited?

On Free Forever, the bulk Generate All action is capped at 3 uses per month. On a School/District Plan or an active Free Trial, Generate All is unlimited. You can still grade submissions individually anytime.

How do I get more, or upgrade?

From the Plans page, you can request an access extension or ask about upgrading to a School/District Plan. Just tell us your school and situation, and our team follows up.
