What are the AI Tools (AI Documents)?

AI Documents (also called AI Tools) let you generate ready-to-use teaching materials — worksheets, lesson plans, quizzes, and exemplars — from a short prompt. EnlightenAI writes the full content, and you can edit it in the built-in editor and export it to Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

What can AI Documents create?

From a prompt describing what you need, EnlightenAI can generate:

  • Worksheets — titled exercises with questions, fill-in-the-blanks, matching, and short-answer space.

  • Lesson plans — with learning objectives, materials, timed sections, and assessment.

  • Quizzes — multiple-choice questions, each with four options.

  • Exemplars — model student responses that demonstrate mastery, plus a non-exemplar option to show what falls short.

How do I generate a resource?

Go to Saved resources in your teacher console and click Generate resource. Describe what you want — for example, the topic, grade level, and format — and EnlightenAI builds the document for you. You can keep chatting to refine it or add more sections.

Can I edit what's generated?

Yes. Every resource opens in an editor where you can rewrite text directly. Inline AI helpers can also simplify, extend, shorten, rephrase, translate, or fix spelling on text you select, so you can tailor the material to your class.

How do I export or share it?

Each saved resource can be copied to your clipboard or exported. Choose Download DocX to save a Microsoft Word file, or Export as Google Doc to create a file in your Google Drive. Your resources stay saved in EnlightenAI so you can reopen and reuse them anytime.
