To grade your first assignment in EnlightenAI: sign in, set up a class, create an assignment with a rubric, train the AI by grading a few samples, run Generate All to grade the class, then review and release feedback to students.
How do I sign in and set up a class?
Create an account or sign in with Google, then set up your first course. EnlightenAI gives each course a join code (course code) so students can enroll, or you can roster students through Google Classroom, Canvas, or Clever if your school uses those integrations.
How do I create an assignment with a rubric?
Inside your course, create a new assignment. Add a rubric with the criteria and levels you want the AI to score against, and fill in a custom prompt with the grade level, instructions, and any reference text or exemplar. The clearer your rubric and instructions, the more closely the AI matches your grading style.
How do I train the AI?
EnlightenAI learns from your own grading. Grade a handful of sample submissions yourself (or upload pre-graded samples) so the AI sees how you score. Around 5 graded samples brings a training model to 100% trained, giving the AI strong context for the rest of the class.
How do I grade the whole class?
Once students have submitted, use Generate All to grade the class in one step. The AI applies your rubric and training to produce feedback for every submission, so you are not starting each one from scratch.
How do I review and release feedback?
Open each grading to review the AI's score and comments. Edit anything you want to adjust, then finish grading to release feedback to students. Students see their personalized feedback in their own console.
