EnlightenAI offers three ways to sign in: Clever SSO, Google, and a passwordless email magic link. Use whichever your school has set up for you — most districts on Clever sign in through Clever.
How do I sign in with Clever?
Click Sign in with Clever and log in through your district's Clever portal. EnlightenAI matches you strictly by your Clever ID — there is no email fallback. This keeps your district in full control of who has access.
Because the match is strict, you can only log in once your district has rostered (synced) you from Clever into EnlightenAI.
What does "account not found" with Clever mean?
It almost always means your district's Clever sync hasn't rostered your account into EnlightenAI yet. Your Clever login worked, but EnlightenAI has no matching record to connect you to.
The fix is on the district side, not yours:
Contact your district admin and ask them to confirm you are shared with EnlightenAI in Clever.
Once the next sync runs, try signing in again.
How do I sign in with Google or email?
If your school doesn't use Clever, you can use either:
Google — click Sign in with Google and choose your school Google account.
Email magic link — enter your email and EnlightenAI sends a one-click sign-in link to your inbox. No password to remember.
Open the email and click the link to finish signing in. If it doesn't arrive, check spam and confirm you entered the right address.
