Step 1: Navigate to https://enlightenme.ai/t

Step 2: Click "Create Assignment."

Step 3: Fill out all of the normal fields in creating the assignment:

Step 4: This is optional, but if you can, we recommend clicking to "Train your AI with examples" so that you can add up to 5 examples of student work:

This will allow you to pre-train your AI assistant and ensure that it grades and gives feedback the way you want it to:

Step 5: When have added the assignment details and AI instructions/training, and you are ready to publish the assignment, select "AI should give on-demand feedback to students.

As you can see above, you can select how many revisions students should have on this assignment. You can choose up to 4 rounds.

Step 6: Don't forget to decide if you want students to be able to copy and paste!

You can leave copy and paste enabled if you know your students need to bring in work from some other system, but if you want to keep them from potentially using outside materials, make sure this stays selected. It will default to enabled.

Step 7: Once you've previewed as a student, select the class that you want to publish the assignment to, and click "Publish Assignment." You'll get this pop-up:

Now you can copy the teacher link if you want to share this assignment with a colleague, or tab over and copy the "share with students" link if you need to send that link to students in a system like Google Classroom to help them navigate to the task.

Students will now be able to complete the Immediate Feedback assignment on the EnlightenAI site. This will allow them to attempt up to 4 submissions with feedback in between each attempt.

If this didn't get you the help you need, feel free to send us an email at [email protected] or send us a support message, and we'll get back to you ASAP!
